Wojcik Gets Contract Extension
University of Tulsa Head Basketball Coach Doug Wojcik signed a two-year contract extension according to Director of Athletics Bubba Cunningham.
Wojcik’s contract is for the next six seasons after receiving the two-year extension through the 2013 campaign.
Wojcik, 43, enters his third season at Tulsa. He led the Hurricane to the school’s 16th 20-win season a year ago and a fourth-place finish in Conference USA. He has compiled an overall 31-28 record, finishing his first season with an 11-17 mark, a two-game improvement from the previous season, and his second year with a 20-11 record.
He became just one of four coaches of the 17 in school history that have coached more than one season at Tulsa, to win more games in their second
season.
