Women’s Auxiliary Glams Up for Christmas

The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary will be packing up their Christmas sweaters and going for the glamour at their 56th Annual Christmas Luncheon and Fashion Show. The luncheon will be held Tuesday, Dec. 8 at the Renaissance Hotel, 6808 107th E. Ave. in Tulsa. The always-elegant Miss Jackson’s will provide clothing for the show. Models are all Tulsa media celebrities, including Terry Hood from Channel 6, Carole Lambert from -News Channel 8, Michelle Lowry from -Channel 2, Chera Kimiko from Fox 23 and author and blogger Cindy Morrison, formerly from .
Funds raised from the event will support all of The Salvation Army’s Tulsa Metro programs including the Center of Hope homeless shelter, social service programs and six Boys & Girls Clubs. The event is themed “The Light of Christmas” with midnight blue and silver decorations. Bargain hunters will love the fabulous Silent Auction, which will feature 200 plus items and a sculpture by renowned artist Rosalind Cook. A piece of jewelry donated by Moody’s Jewelry will be the grand prize for the door prize drawing.
